Episode 5 of The Big Shot features Hamza Saleem Dar, one of the standout talents in European cricket. The Spanish international has consistently impressed with the bat, the ball and in the field, delivering impact performances well beyond his years.

This episode revisits his outstanding display against the Netherlands at the European Cricket Championship 2023, where Hamza almost singlehandedly gave Spain a fighting chance. A left handed batter with a fearless approach, he has been recognised as part of the Rising All Star European XI in the Weston Shield squads for both 2024 and 2025.

Hamza has represented clubs across Europe including Dreux in France and Spanish sides Badalona Shaheen, Pak Montcada and Catalunya Jaguar. He also holds an incredible ECN T10 record of 193 not out and has scored 4398 runs across all ECN competitions, numbers that underline his growing influence on the European stage.
