Europe is set to witness a historic moment in the world of sports as we eagerly announce the commencement of the first-ever Women's European Cricket Championship (ECC-W). This groundbreaking event is scheduled to unfold at the picturesque Cartama Oval, Malaga, Spain, from Sunday, December 17, 2023, to Friday, December 22, 2023.

Five prominent women's national teams will grace the championship for its inaugural edition – hosts Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, and Austria. This championship not only aims to celebrate the passion and skills of women cricketers but also seeks to blaze a trail for the future of women’s cricket in Europe.
Expressing his immense enthusiasm for the upcoming event, ECN Founder, Daniel Weston said, “It's a monumental occasion for us and for European cricket as a whole. The launch of the ECC-W represents not just a tournament, but a vision, a hope, and an aspiration for countless young women across Europe.
