European Cricket League (ECL) is proud to announce that the Bulgarian Cricket Federation has signed a long-term partnership ensuring that the Bulgarian domestic champion club in 2021 will be invited to ECL22 - the Champions League of European cricket.

“We are very excited to partner with the Bulgarian Cricket Federation. Andrey Lilov, Prakash Mishra and his team are continually pushing the boundaries on and off the field to make the game shine in Bulgaria,” said Daniel Weston, Founder of the European Cricket League.

“Plans to take the game to a higher level are in place and now with their domestic champions on the world stage at the ECL is another incentive for the club structure in Bulgaria to expand."

Andrey Lilov, President of the Bulgarian Cricket Federation, said: “This is another great milestone and a huge step forward for Bulgarian Cricket. We are delighted to enter into a partnership with the ECL which will considerably boost the ongoing development process of cricket in Bulgaria.

Following the postponement of ECL20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second staging of the European Cricket League - ECL21 - will now take place from May 30 to June 6, 2021, with 16 champion teams - spread over eight days of exciting fast-paced T10 action at La Manga Club in Spain.
