Through the partnership, Anda will provide support for cricketers in Europe and boost awareness to cricket lovers around the world who have ambitions to study in Germany.
Anda runs German language programs and offers a full service supporting students wishing to study at public German Universities.

Our historically strong ties with Cricket avid countries make ECL a perfect partner for us in order to increase our presence in those regions and to help more people to reach their aspirations in Germany, making their integration and career prospects as strong as possible,” said Rene Rimassa, owner of Anda Sprachschule. “We are very excited to now be connected with cricket and the passion which surrounds the sport which is booming all over Europe.”
To kick off the sponsorship, Anda will hold a prominent position on the perimeter LED Boards around the ground during the ECL matches. The ECL will be beamed around the world through live broadcast and live streams.
Anda and the ECL will also commence a major social media campaign and collaboration to showcase European cricket and the opportunity for students wishing to come to Germany to improve their skills.
“The vision of Anda and the ECL is very similar, with both focussed on providing opportunities for personal development in Europe, whether it be through language, education or competition on the cricket field,” said Daniel Weston, founder of the European Cricket League.
The maiden ECL competition will consist of eight national championship clubs from Denmark, France, Spain, Russia, Netherlands, Italy, Romania and Germany - based around the highly successful UEFA Champions League model in football.
The ECL promotes the growth and development of the game throughout Europe by providing opportunities for national champion clubs to compete at an elite level, in a European wide competition. The ECL also provides strong incentive for all clubs to develop themselves and grassroots cricket programs for the sustainable future for the game, as they aspire to play in the ECL too. Literally any cricket club from the participating ECL countries can be invited to play in the ECL, if they are the domestic champion!
The sports business people behind the ECL are very excited about what the future holds for European cricket. Accordingly, they are imparting the experience and expertise to the ECL gained in constructing some of the worlds greatest events over many years, including the UEFA Champions League, Eurovision Song Contest, FIBA Basketball World Cup and FIFA Football World Cup.

Founded by Daniel Weston, Roger Feiner, Frank Leenders and Thomas Klooz and hailed as a cricketing equivalent of the UEFA Champions League, the eagerly-awaited ECL will be launched this European summer played by eight champion clubs from domestic leagues around Europe.
