Azam Khalil has been a shining star in the Dream11 European Cricket Championship so far with a series of brilliant performances for Sweden. Azam, who was part of the Alby Zalmi team that won the FanCode ECS Sweden Stockholm title last month, shone on the opening day for Sweden in their win over Norway. Azam made 41 off 12 balls with five fours and three sixes before adding a wicket with the ball to win the Player of the Match award.
On day three, Azam starred yet again in Sweden's games against Spain and Belgium. In the match against Spain, Azam was devastating with the ball, picking up tournament best figures of 4-10 to restrict Spain to just 87, before Sweden fell agonisingly one run short. In the game against Belgium, Azam made just 10 with the bat, but picked up a wicket with the ball in his two-over spell to lead the wickets column with EIGHT scalps.
