Big guns Badalona Shaheen and Falco have all the necessary T10 credentials to battle it out for top billing in Group D.
Badalona Shaheen (BSH), Black Panthers (BLP), Falco (FAL), Hawks (HAW), Trinitat Royal Stars (TRS), Punjab Warriors (PUW)
Badalona Shaheen are a good, solid T10 outfit, who agonisingly missed out on a place in the European Cricket Series Barcelona Final after an agonising two run defeat to eventual champions Pak I Care. BSH gained some consolation by winning the Bronze Final, and can challenge at the head of affairs in Group D.
Falco famously began with a bang by immediately becoming Spanish League champions, and have since claimed Spain’s T20 championship on three occasions as well. Despite losing a couple of key players, FAL will be fiercely competitive once again and look to improve on their runners-up finish at the European Cricket Series Barcelona in October.
Hawks will have to seriously improve on their showing at the European Cricket Series Barcelona when finishing bottom of the pile in October, following just one win in seven games.
Trinitat Royal Stars look best placed of the newcomers to challenge the top two in the group, while fellow debutants Punjab Warriors and Black Panthers can only gain from valuable T10 experience on the ECS stage.
