Five leading Italian sides, Royal Padova, Lonigo, Padova, Trentino Aquila and Venezia feature over six days in 24 scintillating T10 matches from wonderful Venice. Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Founded in 2004, Padova CC is one of two cricket clubs based in the North Eastern city, along with local rivals Royal Cricket Padova. Predominately, Padova’s players have a proud Sri Lankan background, and can also boast a talented Womens team who reached the Italian T20 Championship Final, the historic first-ever live womens cricket broadcast to a worldwide audience from Italy.
Led by former Italian international, Nuwan Sameera, Padova will parade some fresh new talent, eager to learn and improve. Padova featured in November in Rome, bagging two wins in six games but came a cropper in a couple of close games. Interestingly, Padova came third in a tough group boasting Royal Parma and Royal Roma both of whom have featured strongly in recent FanCode ECS Italy events.
