The recently concluded ECS Czechia 2024 delivered a thrilling cricketing spectacle, featuring 13,187 runs, 522 wickets, 1,192 fours, and 766 sixes throughout the tournament. The grand finale saw Bohemians take on the defending champions Prague CC in a nail-biting contest that showcased the best of T10 cricket.

Bohemians set a formidable target by scoring 171 runs batting first. In response, Prague CC, known for their dominance in Czechia, faced an early setback as they lost their star player Sabawoon Davizi on the very first ball of their innings. However, the defending champions displayed remarkable resilience and determination, keeping the chase alive until the final delivery. Despite their valiant effort, Prague CC fell just 7 runs short, marking the first time a non-Prague CC team won the European Cricket Series in Czechia.

This victory marked Bohemians' second ECN triumph, having previously won the Czechia Super Series in 2020. Their stellar performance in the final was anchored by their disciplined bowling and crucial wickets, with Hamid Ullah emerging as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 13 wickets.

Sabawoon Davizi of Prague CC, despite his team's loss in the final, was named MVP of the tournament for his outstanding all-round performance. Davizi top-scored with 494 runs, including a century and five fifty-plus scores, showcasing his consistency and prowess with the bat.

Prague CC's extraordinary run of 24 consecutive ECS game wins, stretching from 2022 to 2024, was another highlight, underscoring their dominance in Czechia cricket. However, this season saw the end of their streak, adding a new chapter to the competitive spirit of ECS Czechia.
