Alby Zalmi CF was founded in 2015 by two friends Azam Khalil and Aman Khan who had previously represented Sweden. The club was set up with an aim of providing a platform for the younger generation to take up the sport. It now has various Men's teams as well as U19, U15, U13, U10 and a Women’s team.
Alby Zalmi have won an array of trophies over the years in different competitions and age categories, but ALZ succumbed in the semifinals of Dream11 European Cricket Series Stockholm last season to eventual winners Pakistanska Forening. ALZ ended up winning the Bronze Final to finish third overall. However, Alby Zalmi CF are in good form this year with five straight wins in the ongoing T20 Swedish League and are strong contenders to lift the FanCode ECS Sweden Stockholm trophy.
