Introducing Malmo (MAL) FanCode ECS Sweden Malmo

Founded in 1980, Malmo (MAL) is the very first cricket club formed in the city of Malmo. MAL boast some good ex-Swedish national team players including Rajan Sharma who is also the current U19 national team coach and still a keen, active player at the age of 58! However, Malmo endured an ordinary season last term finishing third in Group B with two wins and two losses. MAL later lost the Shield Final to finish sixth overall.

Saad Mohammad, the 18-year old medium pacer returned figures of 4-11 on Tuesday vs ARI and is second highest wicket taker for MAL with EIGHT wickets with a best return of 4-11.

Azim Chinwari, the 16-year old pace bowler has good pace and control. Swings the new ball away from the right handers. Recently picked for the Swedish U19 National Team. Leading wicket taker for MAL picking up 10 wickets in eight games. Returned best figures of 3-9 vs HRO.

Nikhil Mathur, the wicket keeper batsman, has looked in tremendous touch mustering 79 runs in four games at a strike rate of 188 and is second highest run scorer for his side.

Musadaq Mubarak, the all-rounder is having an impressive season racking up 86 runs in seven innings and picking up NINE wickets including a best return of 3-4 vs LAN in the quarter-final.

Sunny Sharma, the right handed opening batsman has racked up 97 runs in eight games and is the second highest run scorer for Malmo.

Qaiser Munir, right arm fast bowler, usually bowls at the death, targeting the stumps. Is the biggest hitter in the team, can hit monster sixes for fun. Has mustered 66 runs and scalped SEVEN wickets in eight games.
