Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Reigning champions Marsa (MAR) continued to smooth sail in the competition with another win, this time against AUM, to kickstart the second week of action. Zeeshan Khan blitzed 33 not out in no time to help MAR ace the chase in just 3.4 overs.
MAR extended their lead at the top of the table, completing six wins in a row with another comfortable victory over AUM. Waseem Abbas was the Man of the Match for his exploits with the ball, while Nowell Khosla and Niraj Khanna led the run-chase for the side.
Southern Crusaders finally opened their account in the FanCode ECS Malta with a win over Royal Strikers. Ryan Bastiansz’s fantastic knock of 40 proved to be the difference between the two sides as SOC completed a straightforward run-chase with two overs remaining.
In the second leg, SOC bowlers dismantled RST as both Zeshan Yousaf and Jojo Thomas picked up three wickets each. Yousaf scalped three in the same over while Thomas was on a hat-trick. Chasing a target of 38, Angelo Deardon got the job done with ease, thanks to a 17-ball 23.
