FanCode ECS Malta provides an opportunity for ten leading Maltese teams to showcase their skills on the magnificent island of Malta, contesting 48 games over 12 days. Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Originally founded in 1946 after WW2, Overseas CC is one of the oldest clubs in Malta. After a brief hiatus in recent years, driving force Lee Tuck was sounded out by the Overseas Rugby Club to rejuvenate its cricket team and amalgamated the teams of Marauders CC, St Johns CC and Gozo Knights CC.
Overseas CC has been revitalised and recovered from a sluggish start to win four games at our final tournament of last season.
Overseas have a stronger look about them this season with some new signings on board, and will aim to carry on that improvement to make a run at the FanCode ECS Malta trophy.

Callum Burke - Left-arm spinner who gives it a twirl, taking four wickets in his opening game. Callums runs the local golf Academy, and the left-handed opener certainly has a lovely swing of the cricket bat too.
Heinrich Gericke, in great form, scored 118 runs in six innings at a staggering strike rate of 245 including 14 huge maximos. The wicket-keeper batsman has scored about 85% of his runs in boundaries alone. Key man for Overseas if available.
Charl Kleinepunte - Left handed opener who can bat through the innings. Also left arm medium pacer with plenty of swing and bounce.
Jurg Hirschi, leading spinner, joint leading wicket taker with 10 scalps at least year's tournament.
