United Csalad are another new side making a much-anticipated debut in ECS cricket.
Formed in 2020, The falcon on the UCB kit originates from “The Turul” which in tradition is a mythological bird of prey and a national symbol of the Hungarians. With similar fire-like force, UCB hopes to become the most feared team at ECS Hungary.
"Csalad" is a Hungarian word which means "Family" in English, and United Csalad are a close-knit bunch looking to make an impact under the leadership of wicket-keeper batsman Anil Pattanaik.
Many of the UCB squad featured for Dunabogdany CC and Baggy Blues last time around in Hungary, including the ultra-talented Vinoth Ravindran.
United Csalad have high hopes in Ashrith Darapureddy in his first season in Hungary. A quality left-arm spinner and top order batter who has played at a decent level in India. He once hit 11 sixes in a T20 game.
