The group stages came to an end with Dusseldorf Blackcaps taking top spot in Group B followed by Koln CC, Bonn Blue Star and Bayer Uerdingen Wolves. The Blackcaps managed to hold off a spirited chase from Bonn Blue Star in Match 39, before an easier win in the last match of the day.
The first two matches of Day 10 were five-over affairs, shortened due to persistent rain. DJK SG Solingen came agonisingly close to winning their first ever ECS match against Koln CC but fell short by just a solitary run in a nail-biting last ball finish in Match 37. Srikanth Thorlikonda of DSS bagged a consolation man of the match award for his impressive over conceding just four runs and picking up a wicket. Koln CC completed a routine fifth win in the next game to momentarily claim top spot before being dethroned by Dusseldorf Blackcaps.
