THCC (Tennis & Hockey & Cricket Club Rot-Gelb Hamburg) were founded in 2008. The club was originally Alster CC, who date back to 1995. Growing impressively since then, THCC can boast wonderful surroundings and facilities in the west of Hamburg - a superb place to play and watch cricket, and the club is very popular among touring UK teams.
THCC installed a proper grass wicket in 2020 - further proof of the club’s commitment to developing the game of cricket in Germany. A very social outfit, the club welcomes players of all ages, levels and nationalities, and is one of the very few clubs in Germany to have youth players ranging from U11 to U19, two men’s teams, and a ladies’ team, winners of the 2019 German national championship including the talents of Christina Gough, Verena Stolle and Bianca Maes who we witnessed on the European Cricket Network starring for Germany last summer.
