Chanti Pasupuleti, the right handed opener is capable of playing shots all over the park and is especially elegant through the off-side. Scored 30 runs on Saturday.

Vaibhav Patil, hard hitting opening batsman, can also bowl medium pace and can be quite effective in the middle overs. The all-rounder scored 23 runs and picked up two wickets on Saturday.

Ravi Vanukuri, right hand batsman and death over specialist with the ball. Bowls some tight lines and is capable of controlling the run flow. Top scorer for BICA on Saturday scoring 36 runs in two games.

 

Founded in 2018, USC Magdeburg (USCM) is a relatively new club but boast an array of young and experienced talent in their ranks. It will be interesting to see how USCM fare on their first appearance on the grand stage of European Cricket.

Fellow newcomers Berlin International Cricket Academy (BICA) lost two last-over thrillers at the weekend, paying the price for some late lapses of concentration. BICA will have to bounce back quickly and have the advantage in the opener as USCM gets used to the conditions.

Nick Kraigar, the 27-year old all-rounder bagged a man of the match award in his debut ECS match scoring an unbeaten 51 and scalping three wickets.

Karan Singh featured for Berlin Eagles last term playing four games. The off-spinner picked up four wickets last term. Interestingly, all four wickets came on the very first balls he bowled in each of the four games. Bowled just one over on Saturday picking up a couple of wickets.

Rohit Grover, second highest scorer for BER racking up 42 runs in two games on Saturday, winning a man-of-the-match award in the process.

Reuben Davies boasts previous ECS experience playing for Berlin Eagles CC. Racked up 72 runs in six innings including a 19-ball 31 vs RCD and earned himself the title of “Reuben the Butcher' by ECS commentators.

Waqas Virk, the right arm medium pacer was joint highest wicket taker for BRI last term scalping 13 wickets at an economy rate of under seven. Mustered 27 runs at a SR of 300 on Saturday.

Sanish Goyal, the all-rounder was second highest run scorer for BRI racking up 121 runs and picking up NINE wickets - joint second highest for BRI.

Sagar Kataria, classy batsman, very consistent, second highest run scorer in Krefeld for Aachen Rising Stars, amassing 233 runs from nine innings with a best score of 92* off just 44 balls. Plays shots all around the park including some ramp shots as well!

Waleed Ahmed, an intelligent medium pacer, picked up NINE wickets last term with a best return of 3-4.

 

Britannia will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after a surprise defeat to USGC on Saturday. Star all-rounder German internationalRohit Singhwill be the man to watch for Britannia.

In a battle of the newcomers, Berlin CC edged BICA in two final over thrillers at the weekend, but BER are likely to find the reigning champions BRI a tougher nut to crack.
