The final day of the group stages with the race on to finish as high up in the standings as possible. Berlin CC would look to go top of the table against winless USCM while USGC can finish second with a couple of wins.

Abdul Andar, talented middle order batsman, capable of finishing games from any situation, second highest scorer for USGC racking up 79 runs and picked up four wickets including a man of the match performance of 10(7) and 2-6 vs USCM on Wednesday.

Varun Soraganvi has represented Karnataka. Technically sound all-rounder, capable of scoring quick runs. One of four bowlers to have picked up all 10 wickets in an innings in professional cricket in India. Scored 76 runs in five games. Was awarded man of the match in the second game for his all-round performance scoring 22 off nine and picking up TWO wickets in two balls.

Rajesh Nagaraja, the left hander scored 109 runs last term and was the leading wicket taker for USGC troubling the batsmen with his off spin. Top wicket taker for USGC picking up NINE wickets in six games.

GN Khan has mustered 76 runs in six games at a strike rate of 176 scoring about 79% of his runs in boundaries.

Vaibhav Patil, hard hitting opening batsman, can also bowl medium pace and can be quite effective in the middle overs. Has scored 35 runs and picked up two wickets.

Ravi Vanukuri, right hand batsman and death over specialist with the ball. Bowls some tight lines and is capable of controlling the run flow. Second highest scorer for BICA scoring 47 runs in four innings. Top wicket taker for BICA picking up NINE wickets with a best return of 3-9.


Both these sides will want to finish as high up as possible to avoid a potentially tougher quarter final match against the big guns from Group A on Friday. USGC have the opportunity to climb upto second stop with a couple of wins while a win for BICA can potentially give them third place in the standings.

Rohit Grover, highest scorer for BER racking up 182 runs in five games including a stunning 64 off 23 balls. Has won three man-of-the-match awards in five games.

Awais Zafar, captain, right arm pacer, has scalped FIVE wickets in five games with a best return of 2-18.

Vimal Marripeddi, the right arm off-spinner wreaked havoc against BICA picking up 5-4 in the only match he played on Saturday.

Krishna Budireddy, captain, right handed batsman and leg spin bowler. Anchors the innings with the bat and can rip through any defence with his clever wrist spin bowling. Has scored 59 runs.


Winless USCM have looked bereft of ideas so far and things are set to get even tougher here against Berlin CC, who can secure top spot in Group B with just a solitary win against the bottom side who have already been eliminated.
