European Cricket Series Rome continued Thursday under beautiful blue skies in the Italian capital.

Brescia bounced back from defeat in their opening game with two convincing victories to move into second place in Group A.

Jinnah Brescia dismantled Roma to keep their hopes alive and top Group B, closing with three wins from four. However, both Roma and Bergamo have games in hand and net run rate could be crucial for the semi-final spots.

Rome Bangla captain Ahmed Anik put in a man of the match performance to take his side to victory against Asian Latina in the opening game of the day. Sadly, his father passed away earlier so a minute’s silence was held before Rome Bangla’s match against Brescia in his remembrance.
