European Cricket Series Malta provides an opportunity for six Maltese teams to showcase their skills on the magnificent island of Malta. American University of Malta, Knight Kings CC, Marsa CC, Msida Warriors CC, Overseas CC and Southern Crusaders CC will contest 33 exciting T10 games over nine days. Every game will be live streamed on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent, and for rest of the world on Sports Flick, a global OTT platform, that allows you to watch live sport on demand.
With semi-final places up for grabs, rain won the day at a moist European Cricket Series Malta.
Unbeaten Knights CC clocked up 67 off seven overs before the rain arrived, meaning the points were shared with the Msida Warriors.
The elements eased somewhat to allow a five over bash between Marsa and American University of Malta. Marsa mustered 53 with Zeeshan Khan impressing with an unbeaten 39, and the University fell 13 runs short in reply.
The win ensured Marsa a spot in the last four, and with the rain set for the day, the last two fixtures were abandoned without a ball bowled to ensure Msida Warriors made the semi-finals as well, overtaking an unfortunate Overseas CC who had won four successive games to come from nowhere.
After finishing top of the standings, Knights CC will play Msida Warriors in the opening semi-final, with Southern Crusaders taking on Marsa later in the day.
