Hosts Malmohus, Ariana, Ariana AKIF, Evergreen, Helsingborg Royals, Karlskrona, Karlskrona Zalmi, Malmo Kings and Malmo featured over five days in 22 fast and furious T10 matches from the picturesque beachside ground in Malmo Limhamnsfaltet. Every game was streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Ariana AKIF reigned supreme at the European Cricket Series Malmo after beating rivals Ariana in the final. A devastating spell of bowling from Dream11 MVP Debarchan Dash (4-7) set Ariana AKIF on their way to a commanding victory, restricting Ariana to a total of only 50.
In a one-sided final, Ariana AKIF sauntered to the paltry target in only five overs, a total opposite of the two teams’ previous meeting in the group stages which ended in a sensational Golden Ball finish.
Despite losing the opening semi-final to Ariana AKIF, hosts Malmohus gained some consolation by winning the Bronze Final, while Evergreen took the honours in the Shield Final.
