Malmöhus Cricket Club have the honour of staging the European Cricket Series Malmo starting in Sweden on Monday August 3.

"One of the few truly multicultural clubs in Sweden, integration between different cultures and countries is the cornerstone of our club. With the idea of welcoming everybody interested in playing cricket, boys and girls, young and old, Malmöhus Cricket Club was founded in 1993 by Samath Ohlén, Eric Folker and Ramesh Paul. Our club currently has members from 12 different nationalities, something that we are very proud of. We welcome everyone who is interested in being a part of our club.”


Currently we offer the following activities:

  • Coaching for beginners, boys and girls
  • Cooperation with DR cricket centre in Malmö - all year round coaching and indoor facilities (Nets, Bowling machines)
  • Elite team that plays around 30 matches per season in all formats
  • A second team mixed with youngsters and more experienced players, playing around 20 matches a season over the shorter formats
  • Old Boys cricket for the over forties, playing around 10 games per season
  • First ever ladies cricket team in the Skåne region


  • Kids team (all ages) ever growing in numbers
  • Outdoor practice Tuesdays & Thursdays at Limhamnsfältet (for senior teams during the season)
  • Indoor practice at DR cricket centre from October to April (for senior teams during the winter)
