The European Cricket Network is excited to return to the vibrant cricketing hub of Malta for another action-packed tour! After a successful start to the year with the first ECS event in February — where Swieqi United were crowned champions — we are back for the ECS Malta, Spring Series.
The tournament kicks off with ten competitive teams divided into two groups of five. Top two teams from each group qualify for Finals Day. Matches will take place at the picturesque Marsa Sports Club in Marsa, providing the perfect backdrop for some exciting T10 cricket. Swieqi United will return to defend their title.
Following the ECS action, we will move straight into two exciting ECI events. First up, the spotlight will be on women’s cricket with ECI-W Malta-Croatia, a five-match series between the Malta and Croatia women's national sides. This will be followed by the men's national clash between Malta and Estonia in another five-match series as part of ECI Malta-Estonia.
Adding further excitement, the ECIs will be immediately followed by T20I action. ECN T20IW Malta-Croatia will be played on Monday, May 5, where women's side of Malta and Croatia will play in a two-match series. The men's event, ECN T20I Malta-Estonia will kick off on Tuesday with the men's side of Malta and Estonia battling it out in a three-match series.
With top players representing their countries and clubs, and a packed schedule of cricket ahead, the Malta tour promises to deliver unforgettable moments and high-quality competition.
