The European Cricket Series heads to Hornchurch, England for the very first time, with an exciting new chapter kicking off on June 2. The upcoming tour features two ECS events — one for men and one for women, promising nearly two weeks of high-octane cricket action in one of England’s proud cricketing regions.

The men’s tournament will run from June 2 to June 13, bringing together top local and regional talent to compete in the fast-paced T10 format. This marks the ECS debut for Hornchurch as a host venue — a significant milestone for the club and the community.

The women’s competition will be held in two phases — with Day 1 scheduled for June 7 and Day 2 set for June 14. The split-format event offers a unique platform to celebrate and elevate women’s cricket within the ECS structure, featuring skill, flair, and fierce competition.

Hornchurch CC, who were crowned ECL24 champions, will be the home side for the tournament and will be looking to make a strong impression on their own turf. They previously featured in the ECS Wimbledon edition last year but will now enjoy the advantage of familiar surroundings and local support.

As the ECS continues to expand its footprint across Europe, Hornchurch’s inclusion as a host venue reflects the growth and passion for the game in England. With a blend of experience, emerging stars, and a vibrant home crowd expected, fans can look forward to a truly memorable edition of the ECS in June.

Let the fireworks begin in Hornchurch!
