The European Cricket Network’s recent tour to Croatia proved to be a celebration of the sport’s diversity and depth, serving up four thrilling events that showcased both international rivalries and domestic excellence.

The action began with the ECN Croatia–Cyprus T20I series, where Cyprus dominated proceedings, winning all four matches convincingly to stamp their authority on the international stage.

Next up was the ECI Croatia–Cyprus, a 7-match T10 clash that swung dramatically across two days. Croatia stormed through Day 1, winning all four matches in style, before Cyprus bounced back on Day 2 to take the remaining three, setting up a balanced finish to an entertaining series.

Domestic fireworks followed with ECS Croatia, which featured 20 league matches and 3 playoffs before culminating in a high-octane final between Sir Oliver Split and Zagreb Assassins. Batting first, Assassins posted a competitive 101, but Sir Oliver Split came out blazing, chasing it down comfortably inside 9 overs. The standout of the tournament was Maanav Nayak, who was crowned MVP after an extraordinary all-round display — 370 runs and 17 wickets, powering Sir Oliver Split to the title.

The tour wrapped up with ECS-W Croatia, where women’s cricket once again shone brightly. Jinx Zagreb-W continued their dominance from last year, winning 5 out of 7 matches against Lavender Lionesses-W, with one match washed out by rain. Pavla Senjug emerged as the MVP, top-scoring with 158 runs and leading Jinx Zagreb’s charge.

With international flair, domestic rivalries, and women’s milestones, the Croatia tour truly captured the essence of European Cricket — fast, fierce, and unforgettable.
