The recently concluded ECS Croatia delivered a thrilling display of cricket, with a total of 8,795 runs scored, 427 wickets falling, 589 fours, and 519 sixes smashed throughout the tournament. The grand finale saw Zagreb Assassins take on Sir Oliver Split in a battle for the title.
Batting first, Zagreb Assassins struggled to get going and managed a modest score of 87 runs in their 10 overs. Despite their best efforts, Sir Oliver Split's disciplined bowling and fielding set the tone for what was to follow. In reply, Sir Oliver Split confidently chased down the target in just 8 overs, securing a comfortable victory and their first-ever ECS title in Croatia.
The tournament had a few standout performances, and Jawahar Danikula of Zagreb Assassins was named the MVP of the tournament. Danikula impressed with the bat, amassing 444 runs to finish as the tournament's top scorer. He also contributed with the ball, taking 8 wickets to cap off an excellent all-round performance.
Omkarnath Thunduru of Ljubljana led the wicket-taking charts, finishing the tournament with an impressive 16 wickets, demonstrating his skill and consistency with the ball.
