Tune in to the live action Saturday from 2pm CEST * 1pm UK * 12pm GMT * 5:30pm IST from the Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague in the Czech Republic.

Team Preview for Prague Spartans Mobilizers

The Mobilizers come into the weekend hoping to be the second Spartans side to make the championship weekend, after Prague Spartans Vanguards qualified in Week 2.

Captain: Suresh Babu Kuramboyina

Main Wicket-Keeper: Naveen Purandhar

Key Players:

Vaibhav Naukudkar will lead the charge at the top of the order for the Mobilizers.  He is a good hitter of the ball and will need to take calculated risks to get the score moving.

Md Sahadat Hossain Sagor will most likely be Naukudkar’s opening partner and will have to make sure he is either hitting boundaries or at least rotating the strike.

Suresh Babu Kuramboyina is the Mobilizer’s captain and will feature with the ball. He will also look to contribute handy runs down the order if required.

Team Preview for Budejovice Barracudas

The Barracudas have been around for 10 years but this is their first appearance in a league fixture.  Despite this game being their debut on the world stage, they have some very skilful players who will no doubt relish the occasion.

Captain: Anbu Poosakkannu

Main Wicket-Keeper: Arun Natarajan

Key Players:

Ritesh Khanna is the Barracuda’s main go-to.  He will open the batting and also be an important bowler for them.  If he fires, they will be very competitive in this match.

Ayush Sharma can be powerful as an opening batsman.  He will look to maximise their scoring in the powerplay and then sustain it throughout the innings.

Philip Butterill is a very experienced player.  If the top order misfires, Butterill is their “Plan B” option to guide them sensibly to a respectable total.

MR MAXIMO’S TIP: BUDEJOVICE BARRACUDAS

I’m going out on a limb here and tipping the ‘Cudas to win, despite it being their first appearance at this level.  I think they’ve got a couple of players that can make the difference and they will.  Budejovice Barracudas in a close one!
