Live cricket keeps on coming on the European Cricket Network and Sunday saw the 2020 CCA #BAOFinancial T20 Cup commencing in Limassol, Cyprus on Sunday with 10 teams taking part in the competition organized and presented by European Cricket Network (ECN) – the digital destination for news, live scores and European cricket live streaming.
Amdocs, CTL EuroCollege, Limassol Gladiators, Limassol Sri Lanka Lions, Cyprus Moufflons, Nicosia Fighters, Nicosia Tigers, Punjab Lions, Riyaan and Sri Lankans will feature in two groups over the next nine weeks in a scheduled total of 23 matches.
In the first of three matches on Sunday, defending champions Nicosia Tigers got off to a horrible start in pursuit of back to back titles after they were skittled out for a paltry 85. Punjab Lions progressed serenely to their target in only 9 overs, gaining a semblance of revenge for a painful semi-final defeat to the Tigers in last season’s competition.
Nicosia XI Fighters were bundled out for only 58 by Cyprus Moufflons. Ravi Kumar did the damage with the ball, taking six wickets in a brutal four over spell. Last year’s beaten finalists, Cyprus Moufflons, easily chased down the target in only 6.4 overs for a thumping win.
