Boasting over a century of history, TSV Asperg is one of the oldest clubs in a town located 20 kilometers north of Stuttgart where 11 different sports are offered.
However, formed only in March last year, TSV Asperg’s cricket team is one of the newest members of the Deutscher Cricket Bund – (German Cricket Association).
Under the captaincy of Raman Anat, TSV Asperg made an instant impression in the Baden-Wurttemberg Regionalliga, winning the league in their debut season, buoyed by the runs of Kavin Trivedi and the wicket-taking firepower of Zadran Khani.
Always on the lookout for new talent and to spread their love for the game further, TSV Asperg are looking to build on their initial success by forming a women’s team and establishing a youth section at the club.

When are you expecting to be able to train and play cricket again?
We do hope that all our cricketing friends and families across the world are safe. We are hoping to hear back from the local government in Baden-Württemberg about the concepts being prepared for sports to come back. With this in mind, we hope and believe that we can all play cricket again soon.
