English Cricket broadcaster Annie Chave has expressed her support on behalf of the European Cricket Family to all amazing medical staff, remarkable support workers and incredible helpers working tirelessly and selflessly in the fight against #COVID19.

English broadcaster Annie Chave pays tribute as part of European Cricket Family

Annie, Guerilla Cricket broadcaster and Editor of County Cricket Matters, was set to be a valued member of the ECL20 media team, only to be thwarted following the postponement due to the ongoing #covid19 crisis all across the world.

“Like many of you, I have looked forward to this summer of cricket since the final game of last season. To see it taken away from us in such an unprecedented way has been both shocking and deeply upsetting,” Annie said.

“But it is at times like this when the real heroes come into their own and we witness real acts of selflessness and initiatives in all walks of life. Cricket must take a background position at present, but in doing so help to support those on the frontline.

“Thank you to all the medical workers, emergency workers & those in positions that provide us with such help in these difficult times. I cannot wait for Cricket to start again, but let’s help ensure that these amazing people get us safely there.”

YOU the European Cricket Family please act as Annie has done, STAY AT HOME and express solidarity in the fight against COVID-19. SEND your cricketing photos and videos with a message of hope in your own language, your national team shirt, your club colours using #EuropeanCricketFamily.
