European Cricket Network is proud to announce it has again selected BizAway as the Official Travel Partner for the eagerly-awaited European Cricket Championship – ECC21 - in Spain.

BizAway is a cutting-edge travel technology company, headquartered in Europe and helping make life simple for business travellers and corporate clients.

“ECC needs to fly over 200 of Europe’s best cricketers and officials from the participating countries to Spain. In times of COVID-19, this clearly requires a huge logistical effort, perfect planning and travel itinerary management. That’s where BizAway steps in and helps make our life easier,” said Daniel Weston, Founder of the European Cricket Championship.

Players, coaches and officials from the countries competing in the ECC will fly to Spain from all over Europe, including major cities in the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, and Sweden.

Aided by their extensive industry knowledge and digital platforms, BizAway has taken control of the bookings and itinerary to optimize travel plans.

“The European Cricket Championship is now the sought-after destination for the cricketing countries of Europe, and as BizAway we are proud to work with the ECC to take them there and see which country will fly away with the ECC crown,” said Luca Carlucci, CEO of BizAway.

Daniel commented, “The most valuable piece of carry-on luggage in European Cricket is the magnificent ECC winners’ trophy. I know BizAway can help us get the trophy to Cartama in Spain, but after ECC21, I’m not sure which team will need help from BizAway to fly the trophy safely back home!”

Broadcast to a worldwide audience, the European Cricket Championship - ECC21 - is a month-long national team tournament including representative sides from England and the Netherlands. Featuring almost 100 games in September and October, 15 national teams will contest the inaugural 2021 edition. The competition will be intense for the European Cricket Championship crown at the picturesque Cartama Oval, Malaga, Spain.
