Broader broadcast coverage awaits the “Euros of Cricket” as it kicks off its month-long event on September 25.

Spring Media elevates European Cricket Championship with global broadcast and fast data partner

A long-term partner of the European Cricket AG, Spring Media has finalized a wider network of broadcasters of its pinnacle Championship tournament than ever before, and signed a first-ever fast data deal with Decimal Data to enhance the viewer experience.

31 nations are gearing up to battle for European cricketing supremacy with the Netherlands returning to defend their reign as continental champions. Dubbed by some as “the Euros of cricket,” the event sets the stage at the Cartama Oval in Malaga, Spain, from September 25 to October 20.

“This international showcase celebrates the spirit of European cricket, bringing together the finest cricketing talents the continent has to offer,” said Roger Feiner, CEO, European Cricket AG. “We’re proud to announce that the premium-quality TV broadcast will be available to fans all around the globe thanks to our dedicated broadcast partners and the hard work from the team at Spring Media. Our partners’ unwavering support has been instrumental in elevating the stature of the European Cricket Championship to new heights.”

Building on the global reach and traction for European Cricket, Spring Media has also finalized a first-ever stream and fast data partnership with Decimal Data. The ambition is said to enhance the viewer experience, providing real-time updates and insights throughout the Championship.

“We are very proud to work with the European Cricket Network and develop cricket in Europe by showcasing one of the calendar's pinnacle events that is loved by players, fans and partners alike,” said Craig Neilson, Commercial Director, Spring Media.

“This Championship is projected to captivate hundreds of millions of viewers across the globe, and we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to all our global broadcast partners for making it possible,” Feiner adds.
