The Dream11 European Cricket Championship (ECC), also known as the Euros of Cricket, is back again this year with a bang! The tournament has been growing every year since its inception in 2021, and this year, it's going to be bigger and better than ever before.
With a whopping 31 teams participating in the tournament this year, the competition is going to be fierce. The teams will be divided into six groups of five each, with the winners of each group qualifying for Championship Week.
The ECC has become one of the most anticipated T10 tournaments in the world, and rightfully so. The tournament brings together some of the best cricketing nations from Europe, giving them a platform to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level.
ECC23 is set to kick off on 25th September and will run until 20th October. The defending champions, Netherlands XI, have automatically qualified for Championship Week.
The first edition of the tournament was played in 2021 with 15 teams participating, and the number of teams has been increasing every year. In 2022, the tournament had 21 teams, and this year, we are thrilled to welcome 31 teams to the tournament.
The ECC has been a platform for young and upcoming players to showcase their talent, and it has also been an opportunity for experienced players to prove their mettle. With the tournament getting bigger and better every year, it's going to be exciting to see which team comes out on top this year.
