REPORT: Bergamo all the go after Golden Ball at European Cricket Series Rome

European Cricket Series Rome is set for an exciting climax on Sunday after the semi-final spots were nailed down following a dramatic end to the group stages.

Bergamo got the better of Roma in a gripping Golden Ball finish and top Group B with a 100 per cent record.

Bergamo will face Brescia in the second semi-final, while unbeaten Janjua Brescia top Group A and will play fierce local rivals Jinnah Brescia in the opening semi-final, starting at 10am CEST.

Roma gained consolation for their agonising Golden Ball defeat to win the Shield Final in the local derby against Rome Bangla.
