MTV Stallions were quite impressive in the recent Hannover Hitout T10 tournament, earning a place in the final on the back of some big-hitting performances. They will hope to go one better this week.

Key Players:
Mohammad Faruq-Arabzai shone in the Hannover Hitout, leading MTV in runs and wickets. He is a dangerous hitter for them in the middle order.
Basit Orya is another key for MTV. He is likely to open the batting and can play a number of roles at the top of the order. When he has the ball in hand, watch out for his deadly inswinging yorkers!
Ujwal Gadiraju is useful with the ball. His economy rate of only 6.12 in the Hannover Hitout stood out in a very high-scoring tournament.
Team Preview for SG Findorff
SG Findorff shot onto the world stage last year as the German representatives in the inaugural European Cricket League, the Champions League of European Cricket. After a slow start in ECL19, they went on a memorable run that took them all the way to the final. That big game experience will be invaluable this week in Kummerfeld.

Key Players:
Farooq Amirie was a fantastic player for them in last year’s ECL, where he scored the most runs for Findorff as well has having the best economy rate with the ball. He will be their go to man again.
Ammar Khalid is a very dangerous batsman and has shown he can clear the boundary at critical times in the big games. He is particularly destructive against spin. He is also an effective option with the ball in the middle overs.
Alex Knapman is a new face at SG Findorff. Of German and Scottish descent, he is a fast bowler who has been clocked at speeds as high as 90mph.

This is shaping up to be a cracking contest. There are stars on both sides, but I predict SG Findorff’s superior big game experience to be valuable and so I am tipping them to win this showdown in the second match of the day in Kummerfeld.
