Tune in to the live action Friday from 11:30am CEST * 10:30am UK * 9:30am GMT * 3pm IST from the Kummerfeld Sports Verein ground in Germany.

Team Preview for SG Findorff

SG Findorff made their run as expected in their three final matches on Thursday, shooting up from fifth to second in the standings, and they could have even finished top if not for rain intervening.  Their big game experience will be vital in this pressure cooker semi-final.

Captain: Hamid Wardak

Main Wicket-Keeper: Fakhar Ahmed

Key Players:

Hamid Wardak is getting better and better as the week goes on.  He has scored 131 runs at the explosive strike rate of 211.  He’s a big game player and I think he’s going to put on a big performance!

Aziz Dawodzy is known as the “human highlight reel” for a reason.  He is averaging 108 with the bat this week and is also an outstanding fielder.  Expect to see him open up with captain Wardak.

Ammar Khalid has scored 78 of his 102 runs this week in sixes!  His positively radioactive strike rate of 262 is sure to be a concern for anybody forced to bowl to him.

Rashad Mehmood has been a useful bowler this week for SG Findorff.  He has a slightly unusual action and batsmen have struggled to get on top of him.  His tournament economy rate of 7.2 is very good indeed.

Team Preview for MTV Stallions

MTV Stallions have put in some good performance this week and thoroughly deserve their Friday Finals appearance.  They possess some real match winners that must fire if they are going to beat SG Findorff and progress to the Gold Final.

Captain: Gaurav Singh-Rathore

Main Wicket-keeper: Brijesh Prajapati

Key Players:

Basit Orya is outstanding with bat and ball.  He has already turned in several man-of-the-match performances this week so it will be very interesting to see if he can do it at the business end of the week.

Mohammad Faruq-Arabzai is a very good all-rounder, contributing 85 runs and 5 wickets for his team this week.  They will need a big performance out of him, and I’m sure he’ll be rubbing that shiny bald head of his for luck come Friday morning!

Gaurav Singh-Rathore has led his side admirably throughout the tournament.  He has been steady at the top of the order, but the fact that his highest score of the week is 22 which shows he needs to go on with it.  Maybe this will be the game for him.

Brijesh Prajapati has impressed me in some of his cameos with the bat.  He adds some much needed depth to their batting line-up, while doing an important job behind the wickets for the Stallions.

Mr Maximo’s tip: SG FINDORFF

SG Findorff swept aside MTV on Monday, achieving the target of 90 with over three overs to spare.  Anything can happen in T10 cricket, and four days is a long time, but I think that the superior depth of SG Findorff will shine through and they will book a place in the Gold Final by defeating MTV Stallions in this second semi-final.
