ICC Women's Qualifier Europe, 2019

In an event that offers a direct qualification route to both the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier and the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier, the likes of Germany, Scotland, and the Netherlands will be competing in the ICC Women's Qualifier Europe.

"We are thrilled to play host to the ICC Women’s Qualifier Europe 2019. We are fortunate to have such fantastic facilities available with our partners at the La Manga Club Resort, and I am certain that together we will provide an ideal environment for the three sides to compete. The development of the women’s game is a priority for Cricket Espana and having the opportunity to host an event that showcases the best of women’s cricket in Europe will surely provide a positive impact on the game locally.” claimed John Howden, General Manager of Cricket Espana.

The tournament will take place at La Manga in Spain from June 26 to 30 where Germany, who will be sending out its women's national team to an ICC event for the very first time, will compete against the likes of Netherlands and Scotland in a double round-robin format.

With Scotland playing host to the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers, the European side has gained automatic qualification for the event, which leaves Germany and the Netherlands to battle it out for the remaining European spot.
