ECS Hungary, 2026 delivered six days of explosive T10 cricket at GB Oval in Budapest, with five senior men’s club teams lighting up the competition. Across a packed 23-match event, United Csalad Budapest finished on top as champions of a completed tournament full of Maximos, big chases, and standout individual performances.

A Budapest T10 Showcase

ECS Hungary, 2026 ran from Monday 14 September 2026 to Saturday 19 September 2026, bringing the ECS competition to GB Oval in Budapest, Hungary.

The senior men’s club event featured five teams and produced 5,995 runs in total, with scoring racing along at 13.5 runs per over. Put another way, the tournament ticked at 2.01 runs per ball, or 201.0 runs per 100 balls — serious T10 tempo.

Teams batting first won 43% of the time, meaning chasing sides often had the edge in Budapest. Still, defending totals had its moments too, most notably when Royal Tigers held 111 to beat Budapest Super Kings by 11 runs in Match 3.

At the other end of the scale, Royal Tigers also pulled off the highest chase of the event, reaching 163 to beat Cobra CC by 8 wickets with 5 balls to spare in Match 17.

Batting: Runs, Maximos and a 200 Without Loss

The batters had a brilliant week in Budapest. The tournament produced 407 fours and 505 Maximos, with a Maximo arriving every 5.3 balls. The Maximo rate sat at 11.4 per ten overs, while fours came at 9.2 per ten overs.

With runs flowing so freely, every wicket mattered. Across ECS Hungary, 2026, there were 227 dismissals, with wickets falling at a rate of 5.1 per ten overs.
