After four days and 14 matches of high-intensity T10 cricket, Costa del Sol have been crowned champions of ECS Granada 2026, sealing a dominant victory over Sonseca Sultans in the final.
Under lights at the Granada Oval, Costa del Sol delivered a complete performance, posting a strong total before restricting Sonseca Sultans to secure a convincing 50-run win and lift the trophy in style.
The final was defined by standout batting performances. Maanav Nayak led the charge with an unbeaten 58, striking 4 fours and 5 sixes, while teammate Talim Choudhary added a powerful 57, including 3 fours and 6 sixes. Across the tournament, Nayak emerged as the leading run scorer with 319 runs, including a top score of 82 at an impressive strike rate of 229.5, underlining an outstanding all-round campaign.
Granada delivered another strong chapter in the 2026 ECN season, combining explosive batting with high-pressure moments across a compact four-day format. The action now moves to Portugal, where ECS Santarém returns with a two-division format set to unfold over the next two weeks.
