ECS Switzerland, Cossonay, 2026 delivered six match days of T10 entertainment at the Cossonay Cricket Ground, running from Monday 20 July 2026 to Saturday 25 July 2026. Across a packed 24-match event in Cossonay, Switzerland, Cossonay CC finished the job as winners.
A Six-Day T10 Showcase in Cossonay
ECS Switzerland, Cossonay, 2026 brought together five senior men’s club teams under the ECS banner, with the Switzerland Cricket Board helping stage the action at the Cossonay Cricket Ground.
By the end of the completed event, Cossonay CC had earned the biggest congratulations of all: winners of ECS Switzerland, Cossonay, 2026.
The tournament was full of scoring bursts and quick momentum swings. Teams piled up 5,749 runs overall, scoring at 12.8 runs per over. Put another way, the scoring rate worked out at 1.91 runs per ball, or 191.0 runs per 100 balls.
Setting targets proved slightly more rewarding than chasing them. Across the 23-result batting-order split, sides batting first held a 57-to-43 edge, so putting runs on the board mattered in Cossonay.
Batting: Runs, Maximos and Big Overs
The batters made the T10 format sing. There were 430 fours and 438 maximos across the event, with a maximo arriving every 6.2 balls on average. The maximo rate sat at 9.7 per ten overs, just ahead of the fours rate of 9.5 per ten overs.
Those fours and maximos brought 4,348 runs, making up a massive 76% of all runs scored in ECS Switzerland, Cossonay, 2026.
Cossonay CC had a standout run-maker in Anmol Prabhu, who finished as the event’s leading batter with 299 runs in 10 matches. The biggest individual innings, though, belonged to Osama Mahmood of Embrach Cricket Academy, who blasted 91 from 24 balls against Geneva in Match 11.
Geneva also had one of the event’s most explosive moments. In Match 19 against Geneva XI Stars Cricket Academy, they posted the highest team total of the tournament, 174-5 from 10 overs. That same match featured the most runs in an over, with Geneva taking 36 from over two.
Hameed Hamidullah of Geneva was the leading maximo-hitter, launching 24 in seven matches.
There were pressure chases and tight defences too. Cossonay CC pulled off the highest chase of the event, reaching 138 to beat Zurich Crickets CC by four wickets with two balls to spare in Match 15. Earlier, Embrach Cricket Academy showed that 120 could be enough, defending it to beat Zurich Crickets CC by four runs in Match 2.
Bowling: Wickets Kept Coming
Even with the scoring rate flying, bowlers had plenty to celebrate. The event produced 274 dismissals, with wickets falling at a rate of 6.1 per ten overs. Batters averaged 21.0 runs per dismissal, while dot balls made up 37% of deliveries.
Sadat Helal of Geneva led the wicket charts, taking 13 wickets in seven matches.
The best figures of ECS Switzerland, Cossonay, 2026 came from Sajid Momand of Cossonay CC, who delivered a superb 4/7 from 2.0 overs against Zurich Crickets CC in Match 6.
Jai Sinh of Cossonay CC was named the event’s Most Valuable Player after a strong all-round campaign. With the bat, Jai Sinh scored 158 runs from 69 balls at a strike rate of 229.0 and an average of 17.6. Their scoring was powered by 17 maximos at a rate of 14.8 per ten overs, while 65.0% of their runs came through fours and maximos.
