ECS Belgium, Waasland, 2026 delivered six packed match days of T10 action at Beveren Cricket Ground, with seven club sides lighting up Beveren, Belgium. Across 24 completed matches, Temse Knight Riders emerged as champions of a tournament full of Maximos, wickets, catches, and standout individual performances.

The completed ECS club event ran from Monday 7 September 2026 to Saturday 12 September 2026 at Beveren Cricket Ground, bringing together seven senior men’s club teams in Beveren, Belgium, under the banner of the Belgium Cricket Federation.
It was a proper T10 run-fest. The tournament produced 5,556 runs, with scoring racing along at 13.4 runs per over, 2.03 runs per ball, and 203.0 runs per 100 balls. Teams batting first had success in just 36% of the matches in the batting-order split, so setting targets was often a tricky business and chasing sides frequently found the rhythm.
Across those 24 matches of action, there were 280 dismissals, with wickets falling at 6.8 per ten overs and batters averaging 19.8 runs per dismissal. Dot balls made up 36% of deliveries, but when bat met ball cleanly, it travelled.
Batting: Maximos Everywhere
The ball spent plenty of time flying to and over the rope during ECS Belgium, Waasland, 2026.
There were 505 Maximos in the event, coming at a rate of 12.2 per ten overs, with one arriving every 4.9 balls. Add in 312 fours, at 7.5 per ten overs, and the power-hitting numbers tell the story: 4,278 runs came from fours and Maximos, making up 77% of all runs scored.

That same Match 10 also featured the most explosive over of the event, with Lokeren Super Giants hammering 41 runs in the 10th over against St Niklaas Capitals.
On the Maximo leaderboard, Harman Singh of Zwijndrecht Challengers was the standout, clearing the rope 25 times in just four matches.
Chases, Defences, and Key Match Moments
The best chase of the tournament came from Zwijndrecht Challengers, who successfully reached 141 to beat Lokeren Super Giants by six wickets with three balls to spare in Match 12.
But not every target was safe from pressure the other way. The lowest score successfully defended was 124, when Beveren Titans beat Stekene Defenders by 10 runs in Match 2.
Those results captured the balance of the event: big hitting was everywhere, but bowlers and fielders still found ways to drag games back.
Bowling: Beveren Titans Make Their Mark
The best bowling figures of ECS Belgium, Waasland, 2026 came right at the start, with Shafiullah Zakhel taking 4/31 from 2.0 overs for Beveren Titans against St Niklaas Capitals in Match 1.
Beveren Titans also had the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, as Shahidullah Otmanzai claimed 16 wickets in eight matches.
The event’s Most Valuable Player also came from Beveren Titans. Otmanzai Shahidullah finished with 607 match fantasy points in this completed ECS event in Beveren, playing eight matches. Their top score was 10 from 3 balls for Beveren Titans against Kruibeke Polders on Thursday 10 September 2026, the same match in which they hit their tournament-best of one Maximo. Overall, they struck one Maximo in the event at a Maximo rate of 6.7 per ten overs, with 43.0% of their runs coming from fours and Maximos. It was their seventh player event, and their national team status is listed as yet to play.
Fielding: Safe Hands Count
The fielding numbers added another layer to the tournament story.
Nawid Momand of Beveren Titans finished as the top fielder, completing seven dismissals in four matches — all seven catches, with no run outs.
Behind the stumps, Sai Teepi of Zwijndrecht Challengers led the wicketkeeping charts with six dismissals in three matches. That haul included five catches as wicketkeeper, no stumpings, and one run out.
In a format where one dropped chance can change a match in minutes, those contributions were huge.
