The European Cricket Network is proud to announce its role as the official streaming partner for the Pink Lady Cricket 2026. The women's European Cricket Series heads to Regensburg, Germany, for a vital weekend of sport, community and purpose on 26 and 27 September.
Featuring three teams and 8 matches, the compact tournament promises high quality T10 cricket. But the Pink Lady Cricket is about much more than just the action on the field.
A Story of Resilience and Leadership
At the heart of this tournament is a deeply personal story of resilience and community building. Tournament organiser Esmarie Fournet-Fayat has been a driving force for the sport in the region. Originally from South Africa, she is a certified cricket coach who has spent the last seven years promoting women's, men's and youth cricket in Regensburg.
Her own playing career is equally impressive. As a former Belgian international, Esmarie played for nine years in national and regional leagues across Europe before transitioning into a vital leadership role off the pitch. During the pandemic in 2020, she founded the first women's cricket team in Regensburg, which also made history as the first women's cricket team in the wider Upper Palatinate region.
In 2023, she led her team to the Bavarian championship title. Remarkably, she achieved this sporting triumph while simultaneously fighting breast cancer and undergoing chemotherapy at the Caritas-Krankenhaus St. Josef Regensburg.
Stronger Together
Esmarie credits her family and her deep passion for cricket with giving her immense strength during her treatment. It was out of that exact passion that the Pink Lady Cricket Tournament was born.
More than a competition, the Pink Lady Cup is a charity tournament. Operating under the motto "Stronger Together Against Breast Cancer" and the patronage of Alexandra Wolf, the event exists to raise awareness of breast cancer and collect donations for patients navigating their own treatments. Every match played and every donation made contributes directly to supporting those in need.
Having experienced the diagnosis herself, Esmarie uses the sport she loves to convey hope and courage to others facing similar battles.

Growing the Women's Game
The integration of the Pink Lady Cricket into the wider European Cricket Series framework highlights the rapid and meaningful growth of the women's game across Europe. It also shines a light on the incredible individuals driving the sport at the grassroots level. By combining elite T10 action with deep community roots, events like this show how cricket can drive real social impact while expanding its footprint in new regions.
Fans around the world can follow every moment of the Pink Lady Cricket 2026. All nine matches will be broadcast LIVE on the ECN YouTube Channel.
ECN extends its sincere gratitude to Esmarie Fournet-Fayat, Regensburg Cricket, Alexandra Wolf, the dedicated volunteers, and all partners whose generosity makes this vital initiative possible.
