ECS Estonia, 2026 delivered a completed T10 spectacle in Tallinn, Estonia, with five Senior Men’s clubs lighting up the Estonian Cricket Field from Monday 10 August 2026 to Saturday 15 August 2026. Across 24 matches of action, the runs flowed, the Maximos flew, and Tallinn Stallions finished as champions.
A Tallinn T10 Showpiece
ECS Estonia, 2026 brought the ECS spotlight to the Estonian Cricket Field in Tallinn, where the Estonian Cricket Association helped stage a packed six-day club cricket event featuring five Senior Men’s teams.
By the end of the completed competition, 6,666 runs had been scored across 24 matches, with scoring moving at 14.5 runs per over. The overall scoring rate also landed at 2.12 runs per ball, or 212.0 runs per 100 balls, which tells the story of a tournament where batters were rarely allowed to settle for quiet overs.
Teams batting first won 46% of the time, so setting targets was far from straightforward, with chasing sides generally enjoying the edge. Still, Viking Stars proved totals did not always need to be huge, defending 115 to beat Tallinn Stallions by 18 runs in Match 9 — the lowest successful defence of ECS Estonia, 2026.
At the other end of the scale, Tallinn Strikers produced the tournament’s biggest team total, hammering 204-2 in 10 overs against Tallinn Hippos in Match 1.
And when it came to the final word, it belonged to Tallinn Stallions. Congratulations to Tallinn Stallions, winners of ECS Estonia, 2026.
Batting: Big Runs, Bigger Maximos
The batting numbers were pure T10 entertainment. There were 374 fours at a rate of 8.1 per ten overs, while the Maximo count climbed to a massive 580. That meant a Maximo arrived every 4.8 balls on average, with teams striking them at 12.6 per ten overs.
Altogether, 4,976 runs came through fours and Maximos, accounting for 75% of all runs scored in the event.
The standout individual innings came right at the start. Habib Khan blasted 126* from 32 balls for Tallinn Strikers against Tallinn Hippos in Match 1, the highest individual score of ECS Estonia, 2026. Their MVP batting card also recorded a 126 from 33 balls against the same opponents on Monday 10 August 2026, the same day they also launched 17 Maximos in that match.
The tournament’s leading run-scorer was Sahil Chauhan, who piled up 433 runs for Tallinn Strikers in 9 matches. Habib Khan was also everywhere in the Maximo charts, with the top batter Maximo tally recording 52 Maximos in 6 matches, while their event MVP profile credited them with 53 overall.
There was one truly wild over too: Tartu Wolves smashed 36 runs in over 7 of Match 20 against Tallinn Strikers. That same match also produced the highest chase of the competition, as Tallinn Strikers reeled in 170 to beat Tartu Wolves by 9 wickets with 6 balls to spare.
Habib Khan’s All-Round Impact
Habib Khan of Tallinn Strikers was named the event’s Most Valuable Player for ECS Estonia, 2026 in Tallinn, adding a major all-round storyline to the tournament.
Representing Tallinn Strikers, and listed as having played for Estonia, Habib featured in 10 matches, batted in 10 and bowled in 10. With the bat, they scored 412 runs from 120 balls at an average of 41.2 and a strike rate of 343.3. A huge 77.0% of their runs came in fours and Maximos, and their personal Maximo rate was 26.5 per ten overs faced.
They also contributed with the ball, sending down 130 balls, taking 8 wickets, conceding 203 runs, and finishing with an economy rate of 9.4 and a strike rate of 16.3. Their best bowling return was 2/12 from 2.1 overs for Tallinn Strikers against Tartu Wolves on Friday 14 August 2026.
Across the completed ECS event, Habib finished with 790 match fantasy points and was recorded as having played in 5 player events.
Bowling: Wickets in a Run-Heavy Event
Even in a tournament dominated by rapid scoring, bowlers had their moments. There were 202 dismissals in all, coming at a rate of 4.4 per ten overs, while batters averaged 33.0 runs per dismissal.
Dot balls made up 28% of deliveries, a reminder that every quiet ball mattered in a format where one over could flip a match completely.
The best figures of ECS Estonia, 2026 belonged to Nand Riar of Tallinn Strikers, who produced a sharp 3/6 from 1.0 over against Tallinn Stallions in Match 3.
Pranay Gheewala led the wicket charts, taking 12 wickets for Tallinn Stallions in 8 matches — a key contribution from a player in the eventual title-winning squad.
Fielding: Safe Hands for the Stallions
Tallinn Stallions were not just champions; they also produced the tournament’s standout fielding performers.
Ankur Patel topped the fielding charts with 10 dismissals in 8 matches for Tallinn Stallions, all 10 coming as catches with 0 run-outs.
Behind the stumps, Vimukthi Hettiarachchi led the wicketkeeping numbers with 7 dismissals in 6 matches for Tallinn Stallions, made up of 5 wicketkeeper catches, 2 stumpings and 0 run-outs.
