The ECN Spanish Championship Weekend, 2026 brings five senior men’s club sides to Sporting Alfas Cricket Club in Alicante for a three-day T10 burst from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November. With 11 matches planned, the big storyline is clear: Pak I Care Badalona are back in the field after winning the FanCode Spanish Championship Weekend in 2021.

A Three-Day T10 Sprint in Alicante

Spain’s T10 scene heads to Alicante for the ECN Spanish Championship Weekend, 2026, staged at Sporting Alfas Cricket Club across three match days.

Five club teams are in the mix: Sporting Alfas, Pak I Care Badalona, Ibiza CC, Costa Del Sol and Madrid United. With 11 matches planned, there is little room for slow starts and even less space for passengers.

This is senior men’s club cricket with a sharp ECN edge, and the field has plenty of variety: established ECN campaigners, strong specialist profiles, and a former Spanish Championship Weekend winner returning with history on their side.

The Returning Champions Storyline

Pak I Care Badalona provide the headline thread.

They won the FanCode Spanish Championship Weekend in 2021, and their return to this event gives the 2026 edition an immediate sense of chase and challenge. Everyone else in Alicante has a clear target: knock over the side with the trophy-winning pedigree.

Pak I Care Badalona have played nine ECN events, the most in this field, and carry an overall ECN mark of 78. Their batting stands out at 85, backed by bowling at 73 and fielding at 69. They sit 292nd in the ECN team rankings, bringing both experience and a strong batting profile into the weekend.

Sporting Alfas Bring Serious Balance

Sporting Alfas look a major force on paper.

They have played seven ECN events and enter with the highest overall ECN mark among the five teams at 82. Their bowling figure of 95 is particularly eye-catching, while their batting is rated at 72 and their fielding at 78.

They are also the highest-ranked team in the line-up, placed 225th in the ECN team rankings. At their home venue, Sporting Alfas Cricket Club, they carry one of the most rounded statistical profiles of the weekend.

Ibiza CC Add Bowling Bite

Ibiza CC arrive with three ECN events behind them and an overall mark of 75.

Their strongest suit is clear: bowling. Rated at 97, Ibiza CC own the standout bowling number in the competition field. Add in fielding at 88 and batting at 61, and they have the tools to squeeze opponents hard in a short-format setting.

They sit 320th in the ECN team rankings, but their bowling and fielding numbers suggest they could make life uncomfortable for anyone who underestimates them.

Costa Del Sol and Madrid United Look to Upset the Order

Costa Del Sol have played four ECN events and come in with an overall mark of 60. Their bowling is rated at 71, their fielding at 66 and their batting at 60, placing them 524th in the ECN team rankings.

Madrid United bring six ECN events of experience into the weekend. Their overall mark is 59, with batting at 63, fielding at 59 and bowling at 58. They are ranked 558th among ECN teams.

Both sides know the format can reward momentum quickly. In an 11-match T10 weekend, a fast start can change the mood of an entire campaign.

What to Expect

The ECN Spanish Championship Weekend, 2026 has a little bit of everything: Pak I Care Badalona’s title-winning history, Sporting Alfas’ strong all-round profile, Ibiza CC’s elite bowling number, and two challengers in Costa Del Sol and Madrid United looking to shake up the field.

From Friday to Sunday in Alicante, five teams will chase one Spanish Championship Weekend prize — and every T10 contest will matter.
