FanCode ECS Malta provides an opportunity for ten leading Maltese teams to showcase their skills on the magnificent island of Malta, contesting 48 games over 12 days. Every game will be live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Marsa have won six of their eight matches in the FanCode ECS Malta so far and Waseem Abbas’ blistering form has been a primary reason behind MAR's dominance. Along with Jojo Thomas and Ashok Bishnoi, Waseem Abbas is the joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. He has picked up 11 scalps in eight matches.
Abbas has also bowled a maiden over in the competition, quite a rarity in a T10 format. He also has one of the best economy rates in the FanCode ECS Malta among bowlers with more than five overs to their name.
Besides his obvious venom with the ball, the Marsa cricketer has a strike rate of 200 with the bat and has often closed out run-chases with his explosive batting in the lower order.
