Newcomers SG Hameln got off the mark on Wednesday with a precious win and will be looking to carry on that momentum against Moorburger TSV. Pacesetters MTV Stallions face their toughest test so far against the hosts 1.Kieler HTC who will be looking to close the gap at the top of the standings.

Adil Safder, right arm fast bowler, bowls good lengths not allowing batsmen to get underneath the ball, returned man of the match figures of 3-8 in the second game on Monday, has been economical as well conceding under six runs per over.

Shiraz Shah, a leg-spinner who can be a game changer for KHTC, likes bowling in challenging conditions and has different variations in his armoury, scalped four wickets from four games with a best return of 3-9.

Ujwal Gadiraju, leads the Stallion's bowling attack, swings the ball both ways making batsmen look silly, has a good slower ball and can hit some lusty blows down the order, has scalped four wickets from six games.

Gaurav Rathore, captain, has led from the front with bat, bowl and on field. He has played a couple of match winning knocks with the bat and has scalped four wickets with the ball, bagged two successive man of the match awards on Wednesday for his all-round performance.

Prakash Singh, right arm fast bowler, is the leading wicket taker in the tournament picking up seven wickets from five matches conceding runs only at 5.77 runs an over, returned with best figures of 3-14 against MTSV on Wednesday.

Mohammad Faruq Arabzai, talented all-rounder, clocks good speeds while bowling and drives the ball exquisitely, scored first fifty of the tournament blasting a 20-ball 56* and picked up a wicket as well in the second game on Tuesday to earn himself a first man of the match award this season.


A matchup with the top two in the standings. MTV Stallions have jumped off to a magnificent start with six wins from six and comfortably top the standings. But the leaders face a stern test against the hosts who will be looking to close the gap at the top.


Match Prediction: The two sides are quite evenly matched and are likely to share the spoils with a win each. As much as Stallions would want to keep their unbeaten record intact, the hosts would look to gain bragging rights becoming the only team to beat them in the group stage.

Mudassar Iqbal, all-rounder, top order batsman who likes to hit the ball hard, will take the new cherry and hope to provide early breakthroughs, scalped three wickets from three games with a best return of 2-19.

Romal Barakzai, all-rounder, has been good with the ball picking up three wickets from three matches, and will be keen to contribute more with the bat too.

Deepak Prakash, racked up 66 runs in four knocks, scored a priceless unbeaten 22 to steer his side to their first ever ECS win.

Aditya Mulay, right arm medium pacer, has been impressive for SGH scalping five victims from three matches with a best return of 2-8.

Two teams struggling for wins but who appear quite evenly matched. SGH did pick up a shock first win over hosts 1.Kieler HTC on Wednesday and will be looking to build on that success. MTSV will also view these as winnable games to nail down a place in the knockout stages.
