Akshay Harikumar, promising talent with both bat and ball. Impressed in the previous edition playing for Indian Tuskers. Racked up 130 runs and ended as top wicket taker for the Tuskers with SEVEN scalps to his name. Looked good with the bat scoring 23 runs in the second game.
Nithin Sunil, the right hander also played for Tuskers in the previous edition and ended up as the second highest scorer for his side amassing 131 runs.
Aswad Khan, opening bowler who will trouble the batsman with bouncers, can generate pace and bounce off the surface and will be hard to get away. Picked up three wickets on Tuesday with a man of the match performance of 2-4 vs Barbarians. Also scored most runs for PLE with 42 runs in two innings and is yet to be dismissed.
Apoorv Mishra scored an unbeaten 19 in the opening game to take his side home. The all-rounder also picked up two wickets on Tuesday.
INB enjoyed a day off on Tuesday to refresh and face two meetings with MU Pleven. The debutants Pleven shared the spoils against Barbarians and a much tougher test here looms against unbeaten INB.
