Riyaan, Nicosia Fighters, Nicosia Tigers, Sri Lankan Lions Limassol and Cyprus Eagles CTL featured over seven days in a scheduled total of 24 matches at the picturesque Ypsonas Cricket ground in Limassol, Cyprus. Every game was live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Riyaan reigned supreme after a wonderful week of T10 action at the European Cricket Series Cyprus beating Cyprus Eagles CTL in a showcase final rich in high-octane cricketing entertainment.
Fresh from a dramatic golden ball finish the previous day, the two leading sides from the group stages met with the trophy on the line.
After winning the toss and batting first, Cyprus Eagles CTL will no doubt rue a slow end to their innings. Eagles soared to 100 off the first 35 balls, but mustered only a paltry 35 off the final 25 deliveries closing on 135-9.
A measured chase from an ultra-reliable Riyaan batting line up clinched the trophy with two balls remaining.
Sri Lankan Lions Limassol won the Bronze Final for 3rd place following a tense victory over Nicosia Tigers.
