Kista CC started their tournament impressively, accounting for the highly fancied Alby Zalmi CC side. They have continued on their winning way, with the exception of a single loss to Pakistanska Föreningen. Was this just a blip, or have they got the wobbles? Friday will hold the answers.

Key Players:
Chandan Khatri has been a revelation this tournament. He is the joint leading wicket taker with nine, whilst also scoring 88 runs from only 57 balls. In the last match between these two sides he took 2 for 3 with the ball, so I’m sure that he will be a threat again in this game.
Muhammad Farhan Anwar will bat up the top of the order and will look to get Kista CC off to a fast start. It is no coincidence that he went cheaply in their only loss.
Aleem Muhammad Siddiqi hits it miles! I feel like this could be a breakout game for him. He’s hit five sixes this week, and I feel like we’re going to see more maximos from him in their two matches on Finals Friday.
Team Preview for Sigtuna CC
After a strong start, Sigtuna topped the table at one stage, before losses in their final two round robin matches saw them slip to fourth place. After being trounced 67-105 by Kista only a day ago, this rematch has come up very fast! Can they pull off an upset?
Captain & Main Wicket-Keeper: Raja-Ashar Mahmood
Key Players:
Muhammad-Abdul Rehman has scored 126 runs in the tournament, including the only half-century of the week. Scoring his runs at a strike rate of 147, he is the key to Sigtuna posting the kind of total that will unsettle their more highly fancied opponents.
Raja-Ashar Mahmood will be looking to lead by example. He has an important job to do behind the stumps and selecting the right bowlers to do the job for his team.
Qurban Ali has been thrown up the order this week with some good results. He is a big hitter who has shown he can clear the ropes when required.
MR MAXIMO’S TIP: KISTA CC
Kista CC finished the round robin at the top of the ladder and I think they will show their superiority in this first semi-final. The only question is who they will meet in the Gold Final match!
