MTV Stallions sit outside the four on net run rate, but they play all three of their remaining preliminary matches in a row on Wednesday. They must win two of them if they are to be sure of a place in Friday Finals.

Key Players:
Basit Orya hasn’t quite rediscovered his big-hitting form from the Hannover Hitout, but I feel like this is the match that could get him going. He will open the batting and is also likely to send down some of his in-swingers.
Suraj Lal Putta-Motilal will open with Orya and this is a great chance for him to hit his straps. He will need to be consistent at the top of the order if MTV are to advance to the final stages of the tournament.
Ujwal Gadiraju has been the most economical of the MTV bowlers so far in Kummerfeld, and I feel like he might be able to pick up some well-deserved wickets in this match.
Mr Maximo’s tip: MTV Stallions
MTV have to go hard or go home on Wednesday, and I mean that quite literally. Nothing less than a comprehensive win against VFB keeps them on track for the business end of the week. VFB have one foot on the bus back to Wolfsburg and don’t seem like they have what it takes to challenge MTV who desperately need this game to go their way. The Stallions to gallop home in this one.
