Team Preview for Nacka CC
Nacka CC have been pretty competitive in the short forms of the game, with an 8-5 record to finish 6th out of 16 teams in the Elite Division last year. They’ll want to make a statement against the Tigers in the opening match of the tournament.

Key Players:
Samiullah Rahmani is a very valuable player for Nacka. He hits more sixes than fours so he’s not afraid to go large! He also bowls a bit, picking up around a wicket per match.
Sohail Zahid is BOOM BOOM SOZA! He can really send the ball into orbit, and has an out-of-this-world strike rate in excess of 180, so expect him to set the tone at the top of the order.
Khalid Azizi is a great addition to the Nacka lineup. He is likely to open the batting and the bowling, so will have a large say in their performance.

Stockholm Tigers had a mixed season last year, with 5 wins and 6 losses to finish 7th in the Swedish Division 1 competition.
Captain: Faruk Ahmed
Main Wicket-Keeper: Humayun Kabir
Key Players:
Faruk Ahmed has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders in this first match of the tournament. He will open the innings and also be a key bowler for the Tigers. With 110 runs and 9 wickets last season he was dependable, but will need to take his game to another level if they are going to be successful against Nacka.
Humayun Kabir is a dashing keeper and opening batsman. He must build a solid foundation with his skipper at the top of the order.
Sayem Chowdhury is a handy bowling option for Faruk to have up his sleeve. His left-arm orthodox has the ability to disrupt the momentum of the Nacka batsmen.

Nacka will come in full of confidence and ready to fire in this first match of what promises to be a very interesting tournament, with ten teams (split into two groups of five) vying for the championship over the next five days. I think the players out are going to hurt the Tigers, so expect Nacka to go into Joe Exotic mode and cage ‘em. Nacka for the win!
